What is the Bay Area Cubing Initiative?
The Bay Area Cubing Initiative is an introductory program for local middle school and elementary students interested in solving puzzles like the Rubik's Cube. We host monthly events at the San Mateo Public Library where students can learn how to solve the cube, practice their skills, and meet other puzzle enthusiasts.
Our mission is to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills for young leaners. Learning to solve a Rubik's Cube for the first time is an extremely rewarding experience; surrounded by a community of like-minded individuals, students will feel supported and gain confidence in their own abilities.
